- Chong Ya Sun was born in Seremban, Negeri Sembilan on the 31th October 1987. Studied fine art at Malaysia Institute of Art in 2007, Kuala Lumpur. Since young age she start her art life. She was a visual artist with background practices in painting,drawing print-making, ink painting. She look part in 3 group exhibition,'Essence of Life' Issey Miyake competition at KLCC, UMW'Beyond Boundaries' New Artist Exhibition at galleryku, and diploma show at gallery MIA. She inwolved in 'Essence of life' Issey Miyake competition at KLCC and 'The art of recycling the Nando's way' art competition. She won a consolation prize in Issey Miyake competition at KLCC, "Essence of Life". She has benn worked in handcraft factory and involved herself in art teaching. She is stay an art teaching and part time artist and would hold a solo exhibition in near future.
